About
Providing mental health care is a true passion of mine. Over the last 14 years I have worked closely with adults, children, teens and couples to create a strong, meaningful and helpful rapport. I began by earning my masters degree from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi after earning my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in psychology. I gained clinical experience in a variety of settings including state hospitals, clinics and shelters. I have worked with clients experiencing, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, mood disorders, self esteem issues , body images, substance use and thought disorders. I have experience with young children, adolescence and adults and couples. I enjoy using CBT and expressive arts which allows individuals to freely express their feelings and learning empowerment to guide them in helping themselves. I am eager to use my knowledge and experience in working with you.
